This 620 Loft & Garden Wedding design was centered around highlighting the beauty of the season. As seen in Style Me Pretty, this design is proof that the rain doesn’t have to ruin the day. April showers can be beautifully authentic to the season. I created a day that told the story of the season through color with touches of sunny yellow for warmer days, pops of deep purple for the days that pull us back into winter, and the bright promise of May flowers with touches of whites and pinks. Our April Showers editorial was inspired by the changing of seasons and the nebulous weather that comes with it. After the past year, we are no stranger to a “plan B” when it comes to weddings and I wanted to highlight the beauty of just that!
We styled the ceremony under the 620 Loft & Garden clear tent – arguably the most beautiful rain plan in NYC. It felt like we were under one big bubble umbrella. Organic pedestal arrangements featuring spring Fritillaria, tulips, and Forsentia flanked each side of the couple. The drops of dew added just that much more romance to the organic design.
