A luxurious garden wedding with a hometown feel – to sum it up, this day is overflowing with backyard wedding beauty.

Alexa & Tyler

Alexa and Tyler planned a gorgeous outdoor wedding complete with a romantic first look with Utah’s signature mountains as the backdrop. The couple wanted to create an event that felt both elevated and special while also having some casual, hometown roots. Because of this, they chose to host their garden party wedding celebration in the bride’s parents gorgeous back yard.

This was the perfect setting for an event that felt quite literally, close to home. It gave us the perfect blank canvas to work with. In order to elevate the backyard space, we worked with Moonlight lighting to create the draping structures that were the focal point of the yard. With various vintage chandeliers strung, sheer chiffon fabric, and draped greens – this elevated the space to a romantic garden. We adorned the tables with neutral linens, blush taper candles, and a long, lush garlands. This allowed guests ample space to see each other and chat. We used luxe linens in many fabrics to create an abundance of texture.

The Details

The color palette was blush, rose and mauve. The couple decided to serve an al fresco themed dinner. They chose wood fired pizza, artisan salads, and a series of unique passed hors d’oeuvres. On top of the oil painting inspired wedding cake – complete with sugar flowers to match the wedding blooms, the couple served their favorite dessert – lemon, sea salt, honey gelato. The catering team recreated this special recipe from one of Alexa and Tyler’s favorite restaurants.

Ink and Press Co. Created a romantic suite inspired by texture and feminine details. Complete with a gold flower design, vellum overlay, silk ribbon, vintage stamps, and calligraphy addressing, the paper details were nothing short of romantic!
