One of my favorite parts of destination weddings are all of the events that surround them. It is never just one day, it is a Destination Wedding Weekend! From the welcome party to the farewell brunch, there are so many design opportunities! I love to play with location inspired decor and cuisine. Plus, you get the chance to plan multiple wedding looks! The French country bride inspired this design. I wanted to use soft welcoming colors and textures. This would contrast the likely more formal and chic design the wedding itself would have. This design would complete any Destination Wedding Weekend and be the perfect cap to your celebration.
Our day after wedding brunch design was inspired by the close, intimate feel you share after a lovely night of celebrating. We wanted to table to feel light, lush, and romantic to celebrate the new couple. Monica of Lettering by GRG created a beautiful paper suite. This paired with the Chateau floral china – the perfect French country feel. Our bride wore a gorgeous off the shoulder champagne dress – a paired down version of her wedding gown. Our groom wore a classic French cut suit and loafers.
