The raw beauty that comes as winter transforms into spring was used as inspiration for this Park City Editorial. This transition was used to create a modern-romantic design unlike any other. We designed this editorial with the concept of new beginnings in mind. This seasonal editorial by Rachael Ellen, a Park City Wedding Planner, left us eager for spring.

Winter to Spring Transition Design

Park City Wedding Planner Rachael wanted to display this classic comparison of winter to spring in each decor element. This was evident in the velvet napkins and tasteful floral arrangements. We hushed yet romantic tones to evoke that feeling. We used classic honey colored roses paired with soft mauve and fresh ivory hues to emphasize the transition.

The indoor setting was absolutely stunning as well. It had deep, moody painted walls which created the perfect backdrop for the design. Blue and sage linens complemented the gold flatware and modern table setting. These modern details paired perfectly with the mountain setting.

The Design

In this design, we wanted the bride to look timeless. To achieve this look, we paired a high neck lace body suit under a traditional ballgown. Her elegant top swept bun allowed the neckline to be the focus of the gown. The groom’s look completed the overall elegant style with a custom velvet dinner jacket. Overall, this look was the perfect transition of a winter to spring design.
