This past year has been one full of turmoil for couples all over the world. Planning a wedding with so much uncertainty is not easy. This was no exception for Monika and Korab. They have been planning a lovely destination wedding in France. After postponing their destination wedding to next year, they decided on a New York City Elopement. We celebrated first with photos at the beautiful Westbury Garden’s. The pair wore chic elopement attire. It was the perfect fit to commemorate this chapter of their love story.

After this garden session, the couple met up with their immediate families for a Manhattan view ceremony. Korab, the groom, surprised the bride with a violinist for the occasion. In front of their friends, family, and many NYC onlookers, Monika and Korab officially became husband and wife. Afterward, they celebrated their New York City Elopement with champagne on the pier and lunch at a local restaurant afterwards. Kenzie Victory captured the moment perfectly!

One of my favorite details about this day is how different the couple made this from their original wedding plans. This wasn’t to replace the wedding they had to postpone. Rather, this was a chance for something new and exciting. Monika looked lovely in her short white dress and Loeffler Randall heels. Similarly, Korab looked sharp in his suit and bowtie complete with city sneakers. Overall, this couple absolutely turned lemons into lemonade. We can’t wait for their celebration in France come next year!
